Trust me, the transmitter and receiver must be tuned, only then the better communication will take place. Believe me I am not distracted from the topic, I am talking about the same by considering two-way communication between teacher and students. It is a simple concept, I strongly believe that teacher and students must have strong tuning in terms of communication, understanding, and belief which is a vital part in the teaching-learning process. For me, Once the students and I, are on the same frequency then knowledge transfer becomes more and more effective. Abraham Lincoln is often quoted for having said, “If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I would spend six sharpening my axe. By the same concepts before teaching actual subject to my engineering aspirants, I always spend my one or two classes just to make an interaction with the students, I try to ask them about their hobbies, interests, achievements, recent events or anything by which I could make them speak very openly. That sets up the tone for the semester to go into the details of the course. Once students & teacher are connected well, effective teaching learning process is achieved because now transmitter and receivers are perfectly tuned.
