I Teach what I Believe..

I BELIEVE IN MEASURABLE VALUES: OBE

I am always desperate to measure the outcomes of the course which I teach my Students. Outcome base education is strategy which keeps me and students in correct direction to achieve the course outcomes when the course or subject study is completed. I use different assessment tools to measure the attainment of the students so that I can take a feedback to avoid any deviation.

I BELIEVE THAT TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER SHOULD BE TUNED

I am considering two-way communication between teacher and students. It is simple concept, I strongly believe that teacher and students must have strong tuning in terms of communication, understanding, belief which is vital part in teaching-learning process. Once the students and me are on the same frequency then knowledge transfer becomes more and more effective.

I BELIEVE THAT KNOWLEDGE OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND UPGRADING ACCORDINGLY BENEFITS BOTH TEACHER AND STUDENTS

Modern tools and techniques play vital role in current education system as the students being young generation fond of and are more comfortable with the latest technology methods. I, as teacher must look at the technology as a way to accomplish more with my students, a way to improve both learning and teaching. Simulation software, educational apps are the methods which students visualize and understands the concepts quickly. Online virtual teaching and classroom face to face teaching caries their equal importance.

I BELIEVE THAT RESEARCH ATTITUDE MATTERS, DOESN'T MATTER HOW MINUTE IT IS

Being a technology student, I believe my students should have research attitude which is very important for learning. I do not expect unique and high level of research from my students however they should be curious about the concepts, they should question themselves and to me about the things they learn.

I BELIEVE INSTRUCTORS SHOULD CREATE A MOTIVATIONAL, FAIR, RESPECTFUL LEARNING ATMOSPHERE FOR STUDENTS

I always try to make motivational and encouraging learning environment however on the other hand I make a classroom that holds them high expectations that they are going to learn very important and interesting. I believe in student-centered teaching-learning process. Students should think about a class as community where they should accept the diversity in all means. I always try to identify the student’s learning pace and area of interests of all the students as early as possible so thatthey can attain the program outcome in given course time period.

I BELIEVE THAT STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE DECISIONS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THEY GAIN

Decision making is the ability given by the knowledge as the education is about learning to make better decisions. The outcome-based education method expects that the students should attain the decision-making ability to categorize, analyze and apply the knowledge for solving the real time problems.
